  2. Story Strong: Mind, Soul, and Comics Teen Book Club Craft Day

    Recommended for ages 12-18. Register at Hcplc.org/events and the Zoom meeting ID and passcode will be emailed to you on the day of the event. Do you love graphic novels? Did you know that reading them can be good for the mind and soul? May is National Mental Health Awareness Month, so we’ll be discussing how to take care of our awesome selves! Our main title this week is "Komi Can't Communicate, vol. 1" by Tomohito Oda. Craft TBD! Get physical or digital copies of this book at HCPLC.org Through a partnership with the University of South Florida's School of Information, the Temple Terrace Public Library is hosting a bibliotherapy program to connect teens and tweens with selected graphic novels that provide a therapeutic benefit.     Share your work and enjoy the creativity of your community! Read a poem, a spoken-word piece, or an excerpt from a story. Sing or play a song you've composed, tell an original joke, or share some of a book-in-progress. Time slots are a max of 5 minutes each, please. This is an open-air, off-site event! We'll be at the Riverhills Park Gazebo, 329 S. Riverhills Drive, Temple Terrace.
