Additional samples of Klaaren's work can be seen throughout Temple Terrace, including on the restroom area at Riverhills Park and behind the service desk at the Temple Terrace Public Library. He also is the mastermind behind the "Recyclosaurus" just down Fowler Avenue at MOSI.
A Piece of Our Story
Klaaren's work was the first installation in the "Moments in Time" mural project. This piece focuses on the Hillsborough River and the famous Cypress trees. Riverhills Drive was carved out of the landscape in 1921, following the winding course of a 4-mile stretch around this river and opening up views to one of Florida's most attractive riverfronts.
