The Temple Terrace Public Library originally was established in 1959 by the Temple Terrace Women's Club. It was eventually taken over by the City and a Library Board appointed, making the Library eligible to be part of the Hillsborough County Public Library Cooperative. Books, Movies, Music and moreThe goal of the Temple Terrace Public Library is to meet the information and recreational needs of the residents of Temple Terrace and its surrounding environs by providing both print and non-print materials and engendering a lifelong love of reading and learning.The Library also strives to broaden the horizons of its users, promote intellectual freedom, and provide for an enhanced quality of life. Much more than just books, the Library offers a host of electronic and other resources, including access to eBooks, streaming movies, databases for education, homework assistance and job search.

Adults Virtual Book ClubAnyone who loves reading and talking about books is invited to join the Facebook Virtual Book Club discussion. Begin posting comments on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. Teen / 'Tween Comic Book ClubMind, Soul and Comics is a weekly Zoom book club for ages 12-18. Do you love graphic novels? Did you know that reading them can be good for the mind and soul? Get copies of these books at hcplc.org. Partnering with the University of South Florida's School of Information, the Temple Terrace Public Library is hosting a bibliotherapy program to connect teens with selected graphic novels that provide a therapeutic benefit. This project was funded through a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Click here for more information and to sign up.
