TEMPLE TERRACE POLICE DEPARTMENT
CASE 06-00030
MISSING ADULT - SANDRA HAMBY PRINCE

(LINK TO NEWS RELEASE)

SEPT. 13, 2006
Earl Pippin, 11/12/53, has been named a person of interest by the Temple Terrace Police Department. Mr. Pippin and Sandra Prince were involved in a lengthy intimate relationship and he was the sole beneficiary of her estate. Mr. Pippin has exercised his right to counsel and is no longer in contact with the Temple Terrace Police Department.

Detectives would also like to release the following information concerning Prince’s car. There was a significant amount of blood found in the trunk of the vehicle that has been identified as that of Sandra Prince. The vehicle seen in the ATM surveillance photos when Prince’s ATM card was used is believed to be Prince’s vehicle. The vehicle was returned to her garage. The fact that the vehicle was brought back to the home suggests the person may have been very close to Prince.

There is an $80,000.00 REWARD leading to the location of Sandra Prince. Individuals who may have any information are encouraged to call Detective Michael Pridemore at (813)989-7110.

MARCH 31, 2006
Detectives have received new information regarding the masked individual seen on surveillance video using missing Temple Terrace resident Sandra Prince’s ATM card.  A witness has come forward who is believed to have seen the individual in the ATM surveillance footage, unmasked.  From this witness description, a composite has been developed and is being distributed in an alert throughout the area.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid 30’s to early 40’s.  He is approximately 5’11 to 6’ tall, weighing 215 to 245 pounds.  His hair is dark brown, and he was clean shaven.  He was last seen wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.

An anonymous Temple Terrace area business has also contributed $5,000 to the reward leading to the location of Sandra Prince. The REWARD is now at $80,000.

FEBRUARY 1, 2006
As a result of information received from subpoenas on Sandra Prince’s financial accounts, investigators have obtained video and stills from ATM cameras of an individual withdrawing money from Prince’s accounts on at least two occasions from banks in Temple Terrace and North Tampa. The transactions occurred after Prince was last seen by co-workers on Friday, December 30, 2005.

The individual in the video is described as a white male with a large, stocky build.  He has dark hair on his arms, and no visible rings, jewelry, or tattoos.   He is wearing dark colored pants, a light-colored, thin-line, plaid pattern shirt, and an unknown type of mask, possibly green in color.

The vehicle the individual was driving appears to be a mid-sized, light-colored, 4-door vehicle of American manufacture.

Investigators are interested in speaking with this individual regarding these transactions.  The public’s assistance is requested in identifying this man, who may provide additional information on the whereabouts of Sandra Prince, who has now been missing for over a month.

Additionally, the family of Sandra Prince has increased the reward money to a $75,000 REWARD leading to the location of Sandra Hamby Prince.
