The Public Information Office coordinates and oversees all communications efforts within the City. The primary responsibility is to ensure that a consistent message is conveyed throughout all mediums-- print, television, and electronic communications. In addition, the Public Information Officer serves as a point of contact for the news media, including acting as spokesperson for the City in emergency or crisis situations.
