Parks and Recreation, a division of Leisure Services, prides itself on maintaining the highest levels of service with regard to leisure-based programs and facilities. Overall, the 100 full and part-time personnel of the department manage 360 acres of land throughout the City, including 2 community-based recreation centers, 3 athletic facilities, 5 community parks, 5 neighborhood parks, 3 tennis facilities, 5 swimming pools and 3 nature preserves.

In addition, the Parks Division is also responsible for the routine maintenance and enhancement of various roadway medians and rights-of-ways, several retention areas and the exterior landscape of numerous City facilities.

Within the Recreation Division, a highly motivated and creative staff provides a wide variety of programs, events, and activities for all ages, abilities and interests.

ACTT Summer Swim Team - The Aquatic Club of Temple Terrace (ACTT) has an experienced staff that knows how to put the "Fun" in fundamentals.
May 7-Aug. 30 for swimmers ages 5-18.

Classes are offered for boys and girls of all ages and skill levels at a variety of days and times.
Summer Gymnastics Camps - HERE
Enrolling ages 5 and up. Eight (8) sessions are scheduled throughout the summer. Pick one or more to suit your schedule. Each session runs Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for ages 6 and older.

field trips and special themed events for children who have completed kindergarten up to 8th grade.

Clay Court Facility and Swimming Included!
Enrolling beginners to intermediate players ages 6-14.
Ten (10) sessions are scheduled throughout the summer. Select one or more sessions to fit your schedule. Each session runs Monday-Friday
from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

AQUATICS

Swim Team - Aquatic Club of Temple Terrace (ACTT)

Cost is $300 per team (subject to change).

For each youth team member, cost is $50-$60 (includes T-shirt)
