Robert "Bob" Boss graduated from Buffalo State University in 1980 with a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice. He worked in private security for several years until joining the Pelham Manor Police Department in Westchester County, New York, where he worked for three years. In 1988, Mr. Boss moved to Florida to go to work at the Temple Terrace Police Department, where he later became supervisor of the Detective Unit. He retired from the police department in November, 2008. Mr. Boss is president of the Temple Terrace Fraternal Order of Police (Lodge 101). He was elected to the Temple Terrace City Council in November, 2010. He represents the City Council on the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council and Affordable Housing Task Force. He is the council liaison to the Temple Terrace Library Board. Mr. Boss and his wife, Cindy, have three adult children: Justin, Jamie and Colin.
